File Warranty claims do not have to be a hassle. When you are happy, we are happy. We promise that you will be our priority until your issue is resolved. Please note that our factory guidelines strictly limit warranty coverage to manufacturing defects.
We know your gear faces tough conditions season after season, which is why we stand by the quality built into MacDaddy Fishing Lights®. We proudly back our craftsmanship with a bold, comprehensive 2-year warranty to keep you out on the water with confidence.
Your satisfaction is our cornerstone. We've built our partnership on your needs, and filing a claim should be simple. We resolve problems within the clear warranty parameters.
Our founder, Capt. Lee Noga, created MacDaddy Fishing Lights® out of pure frustration with the inferior, "power up and toss" products flooding the market. Those low-quality options oversimplified the sport and ultimately set anglers up to fail. At MacDaddy, we believe you deserve better than a toy. We act as your full-service consumer advocate by maintaining complete control over our light builds, providing extensive angler education, and remaining fully accessible as your personal mentors to help you unlock your true potential out on the water.
Should a defect occur, our team handles the heavy lifting. We'll replace your unit promptly (upon determination the light was defective) to get you back on the water quickly.
Please be aware of the strict conditions that will immediately void your 2-year warranty . This is a highly specialized 12-volt lamp, and plugging it directly into standard house or dock current, a 24V–36V trolling motor battery bank, or any power source other than 12V will completely fry the system. Our technicians can easily identify these internal burn signatures during inspection. Additionally, any physical tampering—such as taking a blade and cutting into the button area—will instantly void coverage, as this light can only be safely breached by authorized MacDaddy personnel. The warranty also does not cover damage from improper wiring, such as installing battery contacts or clips without proper soldering, which causes electrical arcing and power surges. We do not warranty user errors, accidental mishaps, custom DIY alterations, or structural damage caused by extreme yanking on the cord to free a stuck light. If our team determines your light failed due to any of these conditions, your warranty claim will be denied.
Before initiating the warranty claim process, gather all relevant information about your MacDaddy fishing light. Warranty claims require images of any visible damage or malfunction of any light component. You must submit proof of purchase receipt to Marker 69, LLC. If you bought the light directly from Marker 69, LLC, state this in your warranty email claim. Marker 69, LLC maintains the light registration automatically. If you purchased on Amazon, you can look up your purchase and send us a screenshot of the receipt.
In the warranty claim email, please be prepared to give your information, including the light purchase date, where you bought it, and what is wrong with the light to the best of your knowledge. You can call /text us (386)334-4504 and we can do the claim over the phone.
Once your warranty claim is submitted, our team will review it. We will contact you by phone or email to resolve your warranty claim quickly. Sometimes. Capt Lee Noga will contact you and discuss the case. She is the one that investigates and determines the light failure. We do not repair the lights, we replace them. We seal the electronics and encase them in resin rendering them un-repairable. We do not investigate lights with an expired warranty. Most lights fail because of poor contact to the battery, or the DIY was executed improperly. It is extremely rare for the computer chip to fail after the first 5- 10 outings. Go to menu, HELP DESK, troubleshooting page or call/text us (386)334-4504, any day 10am-7pm.
If we cannot initially conclude what may be wrong with the warranty eligible light, we will request that the light be returned us. Marker 69, LLC will send you a postage label or reimburse you for postage.
