Anglers have long been underserved by industry standards that prioritize basic waterproofing over true functional utility. A submersible light is only half the equation; without integrated performance engineering, it’s an incomplete tool. We are redefining the fishing lights category by delivering the complete system you need to succeed.”
Master the Night with the Gold Standard of Strategic Lighting.
Stop relying on “random” light tosses and start using a tool designed for tactical success. Based on the groundbreaking research and deployment strategies of Capt. Lee Noga, MacDaddy fishing lights are the first fishing “smart lights” to earn a U.S. Utility Patent.
Move beyond simple submersible bulbs and upgrade to a science-based system that delivers repeatable, consistent results every time you hit the water.
MacDaddy fishing lights®, invented by Capt Lee Noga, solved the problems of Florida’s nighttime shrimping industry. Most night-running shrimp are light-sensitive. They cannot handle light, not even from The Full moon. Navigating light-sensitive species using a light source is a work of art. MacDaddy fishing light® delivers productivity without spooking the marine life by backlighting the targets, creating a stealth mode. You see them, and they do not see you.
Smart lights are chip driven that have different modes.
Our MacDaddy smart lights let you anchor them at your chosen location
Vertical orientation sets your backlit field, so you see them, and they don’t see you.
It is a MULTI-frequency light that can be used for masterclass strategies to manipulate targets with 2 more lights.

First night out with new MacDaddy light – the strobe feature is amazing! I’ve never seen so many jumbo shrimp.

I have multiple MacDaddy lights that have yet to disappoint us. No matter how bad the water conditions are the different light modes solve the problems. A++++++++++

Full 5 gallon limit! Used the strobe mode on the MacDaddy light to drive up the biggest blue tail shrimp I’ve seen!

Murky waters but my new MacDaddy’s worked great popping the big ones up from the bottom. They were running deep till we fired off the new strobe which sent them to our nets.
